Sea trial went okay! The dogs were NOT sure what to do with the motion. Waylon kept trying to dig his nails into the deck to stabilize, which only made him less stable. June shook for the first bit, but adjusted quickly and curled up in my legs 🙂
We took them to their vet appointment to get their international health certificate to travel to St. Vincent. Traveling internationally with dogs adds a new layer of planning! After negative heartworm tests and stool checks, two dewormers plus a topical flea prevention they are cleared to depart! Now we are waiting on the USDA to endorse the certificate and overnight it to us. We must have the endorsed certificate in hand before we can depart….so fingers crossed!!

In the past week these dogs have been tested and taken far outside their comfort zone. We are so happy with how they are adjusting and embracing our “life is an adventure” mentality (even if they don’t know it 😜)! Even when June fell into the hole behind the drivers seat and couldn’t get out she shrugged it off and fell asleep 🤣
Boat project is coming along and we are getting closer to setting sail!
