Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!
Waylon has been stuck on the boat or to short leash walks for about 4 weeks now while his paw heals. Today we decided he was ready for a short beach excursion to one of St. Vincent’s stunning black sand beaches! June was thrilled to finally have her running buddy back at her side!
Palm trees, clear water, black sand and starfish EVERYWHERE - what more could you ask for?

We are back in the water!! This week we are slowly exploring the western side of St. Vincent - both above and below the water. We explored some shallow patches of turtle grass and found these two lovely seahorses! These masters of camouflage are never easy to find, so we find ourselves extremely grateful to find TWO!

Deanna’s mom came to visit for the third time! It has been a lifelong dream of hers to make it to Tobago Cays - we were thrilled to be able to not only take her but to share it from our floating home! These are memories we will forever cherish.

Sometimes boat life looks like this. Waylon is officially confined to the boat while a wound on his paw heals. What started as a severe limp yesterday revealed what appeared to be a bruise/blood blister on his left rear paw. This morning in a fit of paw shaking it burst open leaving a blood trail all over the salon 😅 after a good cleaning (of his paw) he received a club foot to prevent further bleeding and cushion the pad a bit when he does need to move around.
Upside: June will be uncontested in the next few games of fetch. I think she’ll like that 😉
