This morning we took the dogs on their (and our) last beach trip for 3 weeks! We have grown quite fond of spending our mornings running along sandy coastlines. We drop them off at boarding tomorrow morning just before Sojourner gets lifted out of the water!

Sojourner is getting hauled out for the first time since we have moved aboard! We are in desperate need of new bottom paint, getting some warranty work done, and our dinghy is getting dressed with a pair of chaps!
While Sojourner is getting her work done, we will be in Texas celebrating some exciting graduations, selling our beloved home (and committing to boat life!), and spending time with the ones we miss every day. It will be a wild and hectic three weeks, but we are ready for it!
For those wondering, the dogs will be boarding at a very cool boarding facility on Tortola in BVI! It is the first time we have had to board them, and we (Deanna mostly) are a bit nervous. We are taking them on their final beach run tomorrow morning!

Necker Island is a wildlife paradise, home to a fascinating array of species including playful ring-tailed lemurs (oh my gosh the babies are absurdly cute!), elegant pink flamingos, and stunning scarlet ibises. There are tortoises, kangaroos, and even a pony. The ultra wealthy can stay here for 5K - 120K per night (š«£) but lucky for us we had some crazy cool friends who invited us along for a private tour! If you are feeling like you need a kangaroo to hold your hands and eat out of your palm (trust me, you do!) then we would highly recommend this tour!

We had an amazing time @limeoutvi!! Lime Out is only accessible by boat, requires a short swim in and then provides you with the most delicious (and dangerous) drinks with some of the best tacos we have ever had (short rib š¤¤)!!

The past two days have provided many incredible underwater moments!! We have found ourselves in awe of spotted eagle rays, admiring the peace of hawksbill turtles, and puckering at the sight of many reef and nurse sharks (still not ācomfortableā with sharks)! St. John marine park waters have not disappointed! The schools of fish are plenty and a sight to behold!
